Captures the current state of the 3-D viewport — including visual styles (shaded, wireframe), render mode, and camera angle — as a static raster image. This is a snapshot, not a parametric projection.

When to use it

  • Adding a shaded isometric "beauty shot" to a drawing alongside the precise orthographic views.
  • Capturing a specific rendering style or perspective that TechDraw's vector projection cannot reproduce.
